Do golfers have to download an app?
No. Golfers scan the QR code in their cart and order in their phone’s browser — no app, no account.
How does the beverage cart know where to deliver?
The golfer names the hole when they order, and the cart is on every ticket. With the cart tracking add-on, orders from golfers who share their location are also pinned on a live course map.
Do I have to switch my POS?
No. FairwayTab works alongside the POS and tee sheet you already run: tickets print in your kitchen or halfway house, and staff ring them up as usual. Clover is connected today, so orders land in Clover as tickets; a direct connection to other systems is available on request. Don’t have a POS? FairwayTab is a full one too, with a counter register, card readers, a cash drawer with a Z-report, receipts and inventory.
Do I have to change card processors?
No. Choose how each order is paid: golfers pay on their phone into your own account, your POS takes the payment, or your staff collect at the turn or the cart on your existing terminal. With counter payment your processor, your rates and your statement stay exactly as they are.
How much does it cost?
FairwayTab Course is $349/mo flat for an 18-hole course and driving ranges are $199/mo, with unlimited orders and no per-order commission. FairwayTab Pay is 3.5% of each order’s subtotal with card processing included, or keep your own processor after a one-time $299 setup. Every plan starts with 30 days free.
What hardware do we need?
A Star CloudPRNT thermal printer and the tablets or phones you already have — no on-site PC. Cart tracking, if you want it, comes with its tracker and gateway included.
How do you handle alcohol on the course?
FairwayTab enforces your rules on every order: alcohol service hours, per-order drink caps, ID checks at handoff, a refusal log and a roster of server certifications.
How long does setup take?
Most courses are live in an afternoon: set up your menu, put the QR stickers in the carts and connect your printer.
